BJMP@35: A Celebration of Service

The BJMP Regional Office VIII, under the esteemed leadership of JSSUPT RILL F SONON, DSC, JD, Regional Director, celebrated its 35th Anniversary with the theme, “BJMP@35: Disiplina at Responsibilidad sa Serbisyong may Kredibilidad” on September 7, 2026, at the Leyte Convention Complex, Palo, Leyte.

The celebration was graced by JDIR EFREN A NEMEÑO, DPA, TLPE, Chief, BJMP, marking a significant milestone in the Jail Bureau’s 35 years of dedicated, disciplined, and responsible public service.

A highlight of the celebration was the 2026 BJMP’s BEST Awards, recognizing outstanding BJMP personnel, partner agencies, and stakeholders for their dedication and valuable contributions to the BJMP’s mission.

Beyond commemorating 35 years of service, the occasion served as a celebration of excellence, partnership, and the people who continue to make meaningful change possible; inside and beyond the walls.
